Ross Pamphilon

  Portfolio Manager, Chief Investment Officer, ECM   Ross Pamphilon is chief investment officer and portfolio manager for the ECM Asset Management team at Wells Capital Management. Ross was a founding member of the investment team and the architect of the firm’s investment process, with over 20 years of experience in trading and portfolio and risk management, including 17 years overseeing or investing in sub-investment grade securities. Ross established ECM’s High Yield business in 2011. During his career at ECM, Ross has led a range of business areas including high yield, leveraged finance, emerging markets and investment grade corporate debt. Prior to joining ECM, Ross was an emerging markets specialist at Merrill Lynch where he had responsibility for trading local currency fixed income debt, derivatives and foreign exchange products. He began his investment career in 1990. Ross qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse and earned a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in chemistry from City University, London.
